I know that I haven’t updated this lately. Busy trying to get into “normal life”. I’ve updated the photo of me. I cut the crazy comb-over from the hair loss on the left side of my scalp.  I sort of look like a marine (well, just the head). High and Tight!  I’ve been back to work full time and have traveled to California, Florida, and Dallas.

My last MRI was great. The doctor said it looked good and said I would see  him in 6 weeks – which is next week. I’ll get another MRI and are hoping for the best. I still get a little tired – I’m still healing from the surgery – they say it can take up to a year to heal from a craniotomy. But I can still put in a full day of work and cook dinner every night – which is great! I’ll let you know how the next MRI turns out.

I’ve been going to work every day for a few hours. Since I can drive myself, I drop Lizzy off at camp, then on to work.  BAE is still working the company integration issues that face buying a large company.

I drove myself to radiation – but I really prefer someone else to do it. The rads make me kind of disoriented. I wouldn’t drive 1604 or I10 after around 2:30pm if I’m on the road for the next couple of weeks. I still have to take a nap after I get hope. Just makes you really tired.

They are going to “boost” my radiation treatment starting tomorrow. I don’t really know what that means (yet). A little more umph to know out that bad cells. No negative effects from chemo. That is going very well.

I am supposed to get MRI’d on August 18^th. Hope the results are good.
